Eligibility/Qualification
Applicants must:
- Hold a PhD degree in Mathematics with specialization in Commutative Algebra.
- Have a strong research record and active participation in scientific activities.
- Possess good knowledge of computer algebra systems such as Macaulay2, Singular, or equivalent software.
- Meet the NCN OPUS 28 postdoctoral eligibility requirements, including:
- PhD awarded no earlier than 2014 (subject to allowable extensions for career breaks, illness, or parental leave).
- Obtained the PhD at a different institution than the host institution, or completed a documented postdoctoral stay of at least 10 months at a different institution and country from where the PhD was earned.
- Not receive salary from other NCN-funded project direct costs during the appointment.
- Not be employed under another employment contract during the fellowship period.
- Not receive retirement pension benefits during the appointment.
