Eligibility / Qualification
Academic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related fields.
- Master’s degree in Chemical Sciences and Technologies, Materials Science, or Biotechnology.
- English proficiency at B2 level or above.
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Synthesis and cross-linking of polymeric hydrogels or biopolymers.
- Experience with techniques such as UV-Vis, IR, Raman spectroscopy, SEM/TEM, XRD, HPLC-MS.
- Work on stimuli-responsive systems for medical or agricultural uses.
- Previous internships or research experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or agrochemical labs.
Job Description
The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary team working on advanced hybrid hydrogels. Key responsibilities include:
- Synthesizing and cross-linking hybrid hydrogels.
- Conducting physico-chemical characterization (XRD, FTIR, TGA, SEM, TEM).
- Evaluating mechanical, thermal, and responsive behaviors of materials.
- Investigating chemical stability and molecule-release kinetics under different stimuli.
- Assessing biological and functional properties relevant to agriculture.
This position is well-suited to candidates planning to pursue a PhD in the group.
