Eligibility/Qualification–

PhD

MTech/ME/MDes or equivalent degree with minimum 4 years relevant experience

BTech/BE/MA/MSc/MCA/MBA or equivalent degree with 6 years relevant experience

Essential Experience:

Managing and leading a team of 3 – 6 members
Good communication skills

Job Profile:

Work closely with the team and the Principal Investigator
Manage the CFD activities, Mentor interns & fellows
Conduct and manage FOSSEE workshops
Oversee creation of learning materials, including Spoken tutorials, on OpenFOAM and other FOSSas needed
Write proposals to seek grants, if required
Other duties as required

About the project: FOSSEE project promotes the use of FLOSS tools in academia and research. The FOSSEE project is part of the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.

Pay Details: Level PR-O2: Salary range from Rs.42000 to Rs. 84000 + Rs.7500.00/- Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable) p.m.

General information:

The position is temporary for a period of 1 year and tenable only for the duration of the project.

The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
