Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad invites applications for Project Positions at IIT Hyderabad from eligible and interested candidates
About- Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad is a public technical and research university located in Sangareddy district, Telangana, India. IITH was founded in 2008, among the eight young Indian Institutes of Technology. It has 1,155 Undergraduate, 635 Masters and 893 PhD students with 222 full-time faculties. Research/Job Area- Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or VLSI Design
Location- Hyderabad
Eligibility/Qualification–
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits at the transistor level.
- Perform schematic design, testbench development, and pre-layout simulations using Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and ADE.
- Design analog blocks such as Op-Amps, comparators, current mirrors, bias circuits, bandgap references, and LDOs.
- Conduct DC, AC, transient, noise, stability, PVT corner, and Monte Carlo simulations to verify circuit performance.
- Optimize circuits for power, performance, area (PPA), gain, bandwidth, noise, and stability.
- Collaborate with layout engineers on floorplanning, matching techniques, and layout reviews.
- Perform post-layout simulations with parasitic extraction and debug performance deviations.
- Work with foundry PDKs, device models, and process design rules to ensure design compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design reviews, documentation, silicon characterization, and validation.
Required Skills: Strong fundamentals in CMOS analog circuit design, transistor-level simulation, analog performance analysis, PVT and Monte Carlo analysis, and hands-on experience with industry-standard analog design EDA tools.
Preferred Qualification: Looking for a mandatory PhD with Btech/ Mtech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or VLSI Design, with 3+ years of experience
Job/Position Description-
Analog IC Designer (Full-time contract basis) at IITH within the R&D project.
Number of positions: 1 no.
Domain: Analog and Mixed-Signal Integrated Circuit Design Key
Salary: Rs. 50000 /- per month with HRA.
Contract Period:1 year and will be extended based on their performance and requirements.
Job Location: IIT Hyderabad, IC Design LAB.
