About- The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) is inviting applications for a project appointment on a contractual basis. The appointment will be renewable yearly or until the duration of the project, whichever is earlier. Candidates of Indian nationality are invited to appear for a walk-in test/interview for this project appointment under the “Pre-compliance and Clinical Validation of Implantable and Diagnostic Devices” project.

Eligibility/Qualification–
Project Scientist
- PhD in Metallurgical Engineering or relevant field
- Preferred experience in:
- Casting
- Powder production
- Additive manufacturing
- Heat treatment
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
- Postgraduate Degree in Basic Science with NET/GATE, OR
- Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Professional Course with NET/GATE, AND
- Minimum 2 years of research experience
Relaxation Clause:
- NET/GATE requirement may be relaxed for candidates from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with CGPA ≥ 8.0 (80%)

- ₹56,000 per month + HRA @ 30%
- Additional ₹4,150/month (from institute funds under SREA)

Job Description
- Conduct research on synthesis of C-103 alloy powders
- Work on laser powder bed fusion manufacturing processes
- Perform material characterization and high-temperature testing
- Assist in experimental design, data analysis, and reporting
- Collaborate with project investigators and research team
