About- The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) is inviting applications for a project appointment on a contractual basis. The appointment will be renewable yearly or until the duration of the project, whichever is earlier. Candidates of Indian nationality are invited to appear for a walk-in test/interview for this project appointment under the “Pre-compliance and Clinical Validation of Implantable and Diagnostic Devices” project.

Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- First Class Master’s Degree or PhD in:
- Bioinformatics
- Computational Biology
- Genomics
- Molecular Biology
- Or a related quantitative discipline
Technical Skills Required
Applicants should demonstrate expertise in:
- Big data analysis and computational biology methods
- Programming using Python and/or R
- Multi-omics data analysis including:
- Genomics (WGS, WES, variant calling, CNV analysis)
- Transcriptomics (RNA-Seq differential expression analysis)
- Single-cell sequencing technologies (scRNA-Seq, scATAC-Seq)
- Spatial transcriptomics and imaging analysis
- Statistical modeling and machine learning approaches
Preferred Qualifications
- Research experience in:
- Cancer biology
- Tumor microenvironment studies
- Oncology research
- Advanced experience in:
- Transcriptomics
- Single-cell RNA sequencing analysis

Designation: Project Research Scientist-I
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing computational pipelines for integrative analysis of multi-omics datasets.
- Analyzing genomics, transcriptomics, single-cell RNA sequencing, and spatial transcriptomics data from public databases, patient samples, and organoid models.
- Investigating tumor heterogeneity and immune microenvironment dynamics.
- Studying CAR-T cell infiltration patterns using advanced single-cell and spatial omics approaches.
- Applying machine learning and statistical methods to large-scale biological datasets.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary research teams working on cancer immunotherapy and translational research.
