IIT BhU invites applications Project Scientist I – Research Position for from eligible and interested candidates

About- Applications are invited for the position of Project Research Scientist III (Non-Medical) at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) for a project on the SWASAM radiofrequency system, with a total duration of 4 years. The role is temporary, initially for one year but extendable based on performance. The emoluments are Rs. 78,000/- plus 20% HRA, with a 5% increment every two years. Candidates must have a postgraduate degree with five years of experience or a PhD with two years of experience. Desirable expertise includes biomedical instrumentation and tissue regeneration. The upper age limit is 45 years with relaxations as per government rules. Eligibility/Qualification–

Minimal Essential qualifications:

Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with five years post qualification experience or PhD + two years post qualification experience.

OR For Engineering / IT / CS – Four Years Graduate degree with five years Experience post qualification or PG degree with three years post qualification experience or PhD.

Desirable qualifications: Research Expertise in any of the following: Biomedical Instrumentation, Microsystems for healthcare, Organoids, Organ-on-a-chip, Tissue regeneration

Age Limit

Upper age limit – 45 years. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/Women/PwD candidates as per Government of India rules.

Job/Position Description-

Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist III (Non-Medical) in an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Government of India, sponsored project, titled “Indigenous Development and Clinical Translation of SWASAM – a Cooled Radiofrequency System for Day-Care Treatment of Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS)” sanctioned for a total duration of 4 years. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
