IIT BhU invites applications Project Scientist I – Research Position for from eligible and interested candidates

About- Applications are invited for the position of Project Research Scientist III (Non-Medical) at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) for a project on the SWASAM radiofrequency system, with a total duration of 4 years. The role is temporary, initially for one year but extendable based on performance. The emoluments are Rs. 78,000/- plus 20% HRA, with a 5% increment every two years. Candidates must have a postgraduate degree with five years of experience or a PhD with two years of experience. Desirable expertise includes biomedical instrumentation and tissue regeneration. The upper age limit is 45 years with relaxations as per government rules. Eligibility/Qualification–

Essential qualifications: (i) First class M. Pharm/M. S. (Pharm.)/M. Tech (Pharm) in Pharmacology; OR (ii) Second class M. Pharm/M. S. (Pharm.)/M. Tech (Pharm) in Pharmacology with PhD in Pharmacology. Aforementioned qualification(s) must be from the recognized Board/ University/ Institute.

Desirable qualifications: Qualified in GATE/GPAT/CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship. Candidates with previous experience in animal handling, molecular studies, histopathology techniques, in vitro screening, and experience in scientific writing as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications will be preferred.

Recruitment of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) in ICMR funded project in the

Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology, IIT(BHU), Varanasi -221005

Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist-I at a Fixed Stipend/ Fellowship/ Salary amount of Rs. 56000/- + 20% HRA per month in a ICMR Sponsored Project entitled “Novel mitochondrial mediated and brain targeted pharmacotherapy for alcohol use disorder” sanctioned up to 3 years. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The candidates should possess (Essential qualifications): (i) First class M. Pharm/M. S. (Pharm.)/M. Tech (Pharm) in Pharmacology; OR (ii) Second class M. Pharm/M. S. (Pharm.)/M. Tech (Pharm) in Pharmacology with PhD in Pharmacology. The upper Age Limit is 35 Years (relaxable as Per GoI Rules); All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
