Eligibility/Qualification–
- Educational Qualification – M.Tech in Bioprocess Engineering or a related field with minimum 3 years’ experience or fresh Ph.D in Biotechnology
Technical Expertise
- Expertise in molecular biology and recombinant DNA techniques
- Experience in microbial fermentation/cell culture including shake flask and bioreactor operations.
- Experience in downstream processing and analytical characterization techniques.
- Ability to work and collaborate in cross functional teams in a fast pace and dynamic team setting
- Ability to think critically, demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Documentation including report writing and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral; good publication record desirable
Job Description:
- Develop and implement SOPs
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments targeted towards bioprocess development and optimization
- Participate in successful scale-up of processes from lab to pilot scale.
- Assist in scientific and technical project proposal preparation, funding agency submissions and grant documentations
- Generate, manage, evaluate, and maintain critical data in a highly organized manner.Â
- Maintain a functioning biofoundry lab including equipment maintenanceÂ
