Eligibility/Qualification–
Candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed under the UGC Regulations 2018.
Essential Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Candidates should have qualified NET/SLET/SET.
- Candidates possessing a Ph.D. in accordance with UGC Regulations are exempted from NET/SLET/SET wherever applicable.
- For disciplines where NET is not conducted, NET/SLET/SET is not mandatory.
- Foreign Ph.D. degree holders from institutions ranked among the Top 500 globally (QS/THE/ARWU) are also eligible as per UGC norms.
- Management applicants must possess a First Class Master’s Degree (MBA/PGDM/CA/ICWA/M.Com.) along with two years of professional experience.
- School of Education applicants must possess:
- Postgraduate Degree with 55%
- M.Ed. with 55%
- NET/Ph.D. as applicable.

The selection process includes:
