Academic DegreeCompleted M.Sc. or Diploma in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related fields.
Experience– Good knowledge in sugar- and lipid chemistry.
– Practical experience in synthesis and conjugation methods.
– Familiarity with analytical techniques (chromatography, mass spectrometry, NMR, etc.).
Skills– Excellent written and spoken English.
– Interest in biomolecular analytical tools, particularly vibrational spectroscopy.
– Proactivity and creativity in scientific work.

Description

The selected PhD candidate will be integral to the GAGosome project, responsible for:

  • Conjugation, characterization, and functional evaluation of glycan-lipid conjugates.
  • Developing conjugation strategies and formulating lipid nanoparticles.
  • Structurally and chemically characterizing the nanoparticles to understand stability and interactions with target molecules.
