Description:
The role involves testing various coating processes for ultrathin polymer layers on neural implants, mechanical and electrical property measurements, and testing on organotypic brain slices. You will also present research results at international conferences and publish findings in scientific journals. The project collaborates closely with the University of Utah and companies like Blackrock Neurotech and Sentiomed.

Key Tasks:

  • Synthesis of thin hydrogel-based polymer layers.
  • Mechanical testing (e.g., bend testing, adhesion tests).
  • Electrical testing (e.g., impedance spectroscopy).
  • Immunohistological examination of implants.
