Research/Job Area-Â Physical Sciences

Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential ualification: –
Ph.D. in Physical Sciences with specialization in high-pressure studies.
At least 5 years of post Ph. D experience in national or international laboratories related to high-pressure, high and low -temperature research.
Proven expertise in Raman spectroscopy and synchrotron-based X-ray diffraction studies using diamond anvil cells (DACs). Demonstrated ability to independently design, execute, and analyse high-pressure, high-temperature and low-temperature experiments in laboratory and large-scale facilities.
Strong record of peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals.
Desirable Oualification:
Experience in developing novel experimental methodologies and instrumentation for extreme-conditions research.
Collaborative research experience across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in facility management.
Ability to contribute to proposal writing, evaluation, peer review, and strategic development to advance the laboratory ‘capabilities. Effective scientific communication skills, including mentoring of students and early-career researchers.
Familiarity with cryogenic systems and gas-loading techniques for DAC experiments.
Interest in advancing structure-property studies in functional oxides, porous materials, and to olo ical s stems.

Research Associate (Remuneration Rs.67,000/- plus 30% HRA). Rem uneration will be fixed based on experience
