Eligibility/Qualification
- Candidates of any nationality who have not resided or conducted main activities in Poland for more than 12 months in the past 3 years.
- Must be within the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers and have not been awarded a doctoral degree.
- Required Competencies:
- MSc in organic chemistry
- Very good knowledge of organic chemistry
- Proficiency in the English language (spoken and written)
- Previous laboratory work in organic synthesis is desirable.
Description
The selected candidates will engage in advanced research related to the synthesis of two-dimensional light-responsive polymers at the air-water interface, focusing on amphiphilic dyes and photo-switches to create chemically and mechanically stable membranes capable of molecular sieving controlled by light. The position will culminate in a doctoral dissertation.
