Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential Qualification:
⮚ Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Theoretical High Energy Physics, with specialization in areas related to hot QCD matter. Those who have submitted the PhD thesis may also apply
Desirable Qualification: ⮚ Expertise in heavy quark dynamics in hot QCD matter, including the preequilibrium phase.
Job/Position Description-
| Applications are invited for the position of ANRF- Research Associate-I to work under the project titled “Probing early-stage dynamics of hot QCD Matter in high-energy heavy-ion collisions with heavy quarks” at the School of Physical Sciences, IIT Goa. The project is sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation. | |
| Nature of work | The project aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of heavy quark dynamics across the various stages of hot QCD matter, with a particular focus on the preequilibrium phase. The candidate will also investigate heavy quark dynamics in the presence of electromagnetic fields. The selected candidate will work with Dr. Santosh Kumar Das at IIT Goa and collaborate with Dr. Vinod Chandra at IIT Gandhinagar. |

| Duration of appointment | Initially, for a period of 1 year. It can be extended based on performance. |
| Basic Salary | ₹58,000 Per Month. If the thesis is submitted but the degree is awaited, the candidates will be paid ₹42,000 Per Month |
