Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in: Electrical Power Engineering, Energy Systems and Technologies, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field (awarded in 2020 or later).
- Research Record: Demonstrated research record with publications and effective communication of results through seminars or conferences.
- Project Experience: Experience in interdisciplinary projects related to energy systems and other engineering/science disciplines.
Job Description:
As a Research Associate, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality research on energy networks, focusing on:
- Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis: Conducting research on real-based energy networks across various scenarios, considering interdisciplinary and intersectoral aspects.
- Risk Analysis: Developing forward-looking risk analysis and mitigation strategies to enhance energy network resilience against extreme events.
- Performance Analysis: Analyzing performance indicators from energy system operators and validating experiments.
- Collaboration: Working at the interface of academic partnerships and exploring synergies with relevant research institutes and centers.
- Impact Dissemination: Stimulating pathways to impact, disseminating research outcomes, and translating research into real-world applications.
