Job Description: The selected Research Associate will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary Berlinguette Group, working closely with a team of scientists, engineers, and software developers. The role involves conducting experiments in lattice confinement fusion, analyzing data, and contributing to the design, assembly, calibration, and modification of experimental equipment. Additionally, the candidate will develop new capabilities for characterizing fusion target properties, design analytical models, mentor junior researchers, communicate research findings, and collaborate on patent applications and grant proposals. The successful candidate will contribute to hands-on laboratory research and participate in international travel for collaborative experiments and technical meetings.
