Eligibility/Qualification

- Experience with ultrafast spectroscopy techniques, specifically TCSPC, fluorescence up-conversion, time-resolved mid-IR, and UV-vis
- Skills in assembling optical spectroscopy systems using fs lasers
- Background in biophysical studies and advanced spectroscopy methods
- Passion for research in proton transfer reactions and biology
Job Description
This two-year position, with the possibility of a one-year extension, is under the supervision of Prof. Nadav Amdursky. The successful candidate will conduct research on:
- Biophysical processes coupling respiration to ATP production by the F1Fo ATP synthase
- The sensitivity of bacteria to membrane-targeting antibacterial compounds
You will join a vibrant, supportive research group renowned for its contributions to sustainability research. Training will be provided in existing advanced time-resolved systems at the university.
