Research Associate in Cell Biology: The University of Kent is inviting applications for the position of Research Associate in Cell Biology to participate in a groundbreaking project funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC). The selected candidate will work under the supervision of Prof Michelle Garrett on developing inhibitors targeting protein-protein interactions (PPI) relevant to cancer drug discovery.

- PhD degree awarded/to be awarded in a relevant area of cell biology or a related field.
- Extensive practical experience in cell biology.

Job Description:
The Research Associate will be responsible for:
- Delivering the research objectives of the MRC grant entitled “Phosphoestamers: A new technology platform to block protein-protein interactions in the cell.”
- Organizing and managing laboratory work in alignment with the research project work plan, deliverables, and milestones outlined in the grant.
- Carrying out research as per the proposal, following an agreed research plan with the project principal investigator to achieve the specific aims of the grant.
