Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Demonstrable expertise in training large-scale models in a self-supervised regime.
- Familiarity with data processing and machine learning evaluation techniques.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will conduct research leveraging a unique multimodal dataset (EgoActive) comprising audio-video recordings and physiological data from infants and adults. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and conducting experiments using collected data to train models and analyze performance.
- Exploring algorithms related to surprise and curiosity in both infants and machine learning.
- Preprocessing data for machine learning experiments and pseudo-labeling data using pre-trained models.
- Writing research findings for high-quality publications and presenting at various conferences and workshops.
- Engaging in organizational activities related to research and data protection legislation.
- Promoting best practices in interdisciplinary research.
