Eligibility/Qualification

  • Educational Background: PhD in MRI Physics, Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Skills: Strong expertise in MRI physics and advanced imaging techniques, proven analytical problem-solving skills, experience in programming (Python, C++, or MATLAB).
  • Experience: Contributions to peer-reviewed publications, preferably with experience in cardiovascular MRI, cardiac diffusion tensor imaging, and machine learning or deep learning methods.

Job Description

The role involves:

  • Developing and optimizing MRI sequences, particularly for cardiac diffusion tensor imaging (DTI).
  • Implementing AI and deep learning approaches for image reconstruction and denoising.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, radiographers, engineers, and data scientists.
  • Contributing to research on cardiovascular diseases, focusing on areas such as diabetes, heart failure, aortic stenosis, and coronary artery disease.
