Research Associate in Synthetic Organic: We are seeking an outstanding and ambitious synthetic organic chemist to join our team as a Research Associate in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Manchester. This Leverhulme Trust-funded Postdoctoral position with Prof David J. Procter will be for 24 months and will involve the development of visible light-mediated, metal-free coupling processes involving sulfonium salts. The successful candidate should have experience in methodology development and target synthesis. You will work under your own initiative, lead a research team, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. A PhD in synthetic organic chemistry is required or be working towards one.
