Eligibility/Qualification –
Ph.D. degree (awarded/submitted) in Chemistry, Atmospheric/Environmental Science, Environmental Science & Technology, Environmental Technology, Meteorology, Earth Sciences and Geophysics with at least 55% marks.
Desirable Qualifications: Mathematics and Chemistry at the BSc level and research experience in air pollution monitoring, characterization and modelling are desirable.
Job Description: Aerosol sampling and their chemical characterization, source apportionment and modeling, data analysis and report preparation etc
Age limit: 45 years (5 years relaxation for female/SC/ST/physically handicapped candidates as per the GOI rules.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited for the post of one post of Research Associate (01), Scientific Assistant (01 ) and Field Assistant (01) in SPCB Projects (project Codes: M-21/1505 and &121/1511) entitled “Ambient Air Quality Monitoring of PMI(), S02 and N02 at five locations in Varanasi in the Indo-Gangetic Plain” and “Monitoring and characterization for sources of air pollutants for implementation and air quality improvement of Prayagraj City” under the supervision of Dr. Kirpa Ram, Assistant Professor, Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
