Research/Job Area- Biology

Eligibility/Qualification-
- Ph.D. degree in Biology with a Focus on Cancer Biology and oncogenic signal transduction pathways.
- Candidates who have submitted their thesis and awaiting the award of a Ph.D. degree may also apply.
- Candidates should provide evidence of having conducted high-quality research during or after their Ph. D. program.
Desirable qualities: Experience in culturing Multiple Myeloma Cell lines and a thorough understanding of signal transduction and gene regulatory mechanisms in the context of Jak-STAT and NF-kB pathways is highly desirable. Prior experience with molecular cloning, lentiviral mediated gene knockdown, knockout, overexpression and Flow-cytometric analysis is expected. Also, experience in studying protein-protein interactions and ChIP assay are desirable.

However, the candidate must produce a letter from a competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defense is pending. A nominal research grant will be available under this program. |
