Research Associate/Postdoc Position: The University of Bayreuth, a research-oriented university with an internationally competitive interdisciplinary focus, has an opening in the field of agroecology starting on 01/08/2023 (or by agreement) for a Research Associate/Postdoc position. Job Description:

  • Conduct research in the field of agroecology, focusing on plant-soil interactions and ecosystem functions.
  • Design and execute experiments, both in the field and laboratory, related to stable isotope applications.
  • Analyze and interpret scientific data, including stable isotope data, using statistical methods.
  • Publish high-quality research papers and contribute to national and international research networks.
  • Mentor and supervise undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Engage in proposal writing and seek external funding opportunities.
  • Contribute to teaching activities, including conducting courses in German and English.
