Eligibility/Qualification
- A PhD in Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in synthetic and medicinal chemistry, specifically related to drug discovery.
- Experience in synthesising, purifying, and characterising molecules.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of innovative research outputs.
Job Description
The Research Fellow will:
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in the design and synthesis of molecules aimed at combating antifungal resistance and advancing small molecule therapeutics.
- Develop new synthetic routes and techniques in medicinal chemistry.
- Work closely with biologists and industry leaders to support drug discovery efforts.
- Participate in the development of innovative chemical probes and treatments within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Contribute to academic publications and presentations related to ongoing research projects.
