Research Fellow Position at NTU: Nanyang Technological University School of Materials Science and Engineering (NTU MSE) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate for the position of Research Fellow (RF) to join a 3-year interdisciplinary research project funded by Singapore National Research Foundation. The project aims to develop an intelligent, sustainable, and data-centered urban farming system for optimizing whole-plant yield under solid and hydroponic substrates.

Eligibility/Qualification: PhD degree in biological engineering systems, agricultural engineering, remote sensing, electronic engineering, or related fields.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will operate a LemnaTec indoors HTPP system and remotely sensed data fusion and analysis with PlantDitech information. The candidate should have experience in high-throughput phenotyping, plant hyperspectral imaging, RGB, thermal imaging, and statistical data analysis.
The RF will assist in daily operations of compu-farm, control farm, and supervise junior research staff, undergraduate, and graduate student projects. The candidate should have good communication and project management skills, excellent knowledge of the English language, and demonstrated research abilities.
