Eligibility/Qualification:
- Postdoc: Candidates currently pursuing or recently completed their postdoctoral research, with a focus on international criminal law, legal history, or critical approaches to gender and criminal law. Encouraging applications from female scholars, preferably from the Global South or the US/UK.
- Professor/Experienced Researcher: Individuals with 10-12 years of experience post-Ph.D. or equivalent, holding a Ph.D. from Germany, and having a demonstrated research presence in Germany. Open to German nationals.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will have the freedom to conduct independent research in a stimulating academic environment without additional teaching obligations. Research areas include international and domestic criminal law, legal history, and critical approaches to gender and criminal law. The duration of the position varies for Postdocs (6 months up to 2 years) and Professors (1 year, potentially split). Remuneration is approximately 2600-3200 EUR per month, depending on experience, with additional benefits.
