Eligibility/Qualification–

Professor

Applicants should possess:

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• Outstanding academic record.
• Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals.
• Research Score of 120.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience with successful Ph.D. guidance.

For Management disciplines:

• Ph.D. in relevant field.
• First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience including at least 3 years as Associate Professor.
• Required research publications and Ph.D. supervision as per AICTE/UGC norms.

Associate Professor

Applicants should possess:

• Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
• Master’s degree with 55% marks.
• Minimum 8 years teaching/research experience.
• At least 7 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals.
• Minimum Research Score of 75.

For Management:

• Ph.D. in relevant field.
• First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience including at least 2 years post-Ph.D.
• Six research publications in SCI/UGC/AICTE approved journals.

Assistant Professor

Applicants should possess:

• Master’s degree with 55% marks in the relevant subject.
• NET/SLET/SET qualification or Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations.
• Candidates with Ph.D. from eligible foreign universities are also eligible under UGC norms.

For Management:

• Bachelor’s degree plus MBA/PGDM/CA/ICWA/M.Com. (First Class or equivalent).
• Minimum two years of professional experience after Master’s degree.

Job/Position Description- 

Selected candidates will:

• Teach undergraduate, postgraduate and research students.
• Conduct quality research and publish in reputed journals.
• Guide research scholars and supervise dissertations/Ph.D.
• Develop curriculum and academic content.
• Participate in departmental administration and university academic activities.
• Contribute to innovation, consultancy and outreach activities.

Application Fee:

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹2,000
• SC/ST: ₹1,500

2. Upload all required educational, experience and category certificates.
3. Pay the prescribed application fee online.
4. Take a printout of the completed application.
5. Send the signed hard copy with self-attested supporting documents to the Registrar, Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya via Registered/Speed Post in a sealed envelope superscribed with “Application for the Post of …………………”.
6. The hard copy must reach the university by 28 August 2026 (5:00 PM).
