Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Ph.D. (or nearing completion) /M.E. or M.Tech. with 3 years experience or B.Tech. + 5 years experience in Electrical/Electronics engineering
- Motor design, FEA analysis of design using Ansys/Comsol, prototype development/packaging and testing
- Power converter design and hardware implementation
- Experience in MATLAB and SPICE simulation
- Strong C coding skills
- Hands-on experience in PCB design, with a preference for hardware experience.
Desirable qualifications:
- Experience in medical device development and knowledge of biomedical product lifecycle.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work as a part of a dynamic group.
Job/Position Description-
Position: Senior Project Engineer, Gangwal School of Medical Science and Technology, IIT Kanpur.
We are looking for dynamic and motivated candidates with strong interests and/or experience in medical device development to work towards the development of percutaneous circulatory support devices and allied systems.

Salary Range:

Candidates with lower qualifications than mentioned above can also apply. If selected, they will be offered positions lower than Senior Project Engineer.
