Eligibility / Qualification
Required Qualifications
- Education: PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Biomedical Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Technical Expertise: Experience with single-cell and/or spatial omics technologies.
- Data Analysis: Strong background in computational data analysis alongside a solid understanding of biological and biomedical concepts.
- Machine Learning & AI: Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, AI, or statistical modeling applied to biological data.
- Computing: Proficiency in scientific computing frameworks.
- Key Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Desirable Qualifications
- Familiarity with neurobiology, immunology, or cancer biology datasets.
Job Description
- Lead computational analyses of single-cell, spatial transcriptomics, and multi-omics datasets.
- Build and maintain reproducible, well-documented data analysis pipelines.
- Apply and adapt machine learning and AI tools to answer complex biological questions.
- Work closely with experimental scientists to guide study designs and interpret findings.
- Assist with grant writing and contribute to shaping the laboratory’s computational strategy.
- Mentor and advise PhD students and junior postdoctoral researchers.
- Publish first-author manuscripts and present research outcomes at international conferences.
