Eligibility / Qualification

Required Qualifications

  • Education: PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Biomedical Sciences, or a closely related field.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with single-cell and/or spatial omics technologies.
  • Data Analysis: Strong background in computational data analysis alongside a solid understanding of biological and biomedical concepts.
  • Machine Learning & AI: Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, AI, or statistical modeling applied to biological data.
  • Computing: Proficiency in scientific computing frameworks.
  • Key Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Familiarity with neurobiology, immunology, or cancer biology datasets.

Job Description

  • Lead computational analyses of single-cell, spatial transcriptomics, and multi-omics datasets.
  • Build and maintain reproducible, well-documented data analysis pipelines.
  • Apply and adapt machine learning and AI tools to answer complex biological questions.
  • Work closely with experimental scientists to guide study designs and interpret findings.
  • Assist with grant writing and contribute to shaping the laboratory’s computational strategy.
  • Mentor and advise PhD students and junior postdoctoral researchers.
  • Publish first-author manuscripts and present research outcomes at international conferences.
