The University of Vienna is seeking a dedicated postdoctoral researcher to join the González research group at the Institute of Theoretical Chemistry. This position focuses on developing advanced methods for strongly correlated electronic structure and chemical dynamics, with an emphasis on hybrid quantum computing platforms.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Theoretical Chemistry, Computational Physics, or a related field.
- Experience in method development related to quantum chemistry and/or nonadiabatic dynamics.
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python and/or C/C++/Fortran.
- Familiarity with software development kits for quantum computing (e.g., QISKIT, Cirq, OpenFermion, Microsoft’s Q).
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
Job Description:
- Engage actively in research projects involving method development or applications concerning quantum computing.
- Contribute to international publications and presentations.
- Teach and supervise students at the undergraduate level (courses available in English or German).
- Collaborate with national and international partners.
- Assist in the application process for projects and securing third-party funding.
- Undertake administrative responsibilities in research, teaching, and administration.
