Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, preferably with qualifications in organic or inorganic chemistry.
- Experience in synthetic chemistry, particularly in multi-step synthesis and characterization of biologically active ligands and metal complexes.
- Knowledge of advanced chromatography techniques (HPLC, LC-MS) and NMR spectroscopy.
- Familiarity with mammalian cell cultures and related assays is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; basic knowledge of German is a plus.
- Experience in academic teaching is advantageous.
Job Description
- Conduct original research projects in bioinorganic chemistry, emphasizing the synthesis and characterization of novel ligands and metal complexes for chemical biology applications.
- Collaborate closely with experts in molecular biology and cell biology.
- Engage in teaching and supervising bachelor and master students, as well as participating in administrative tasks.
- Contribute to academic publications and presentations.
