Eligibility/Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in a science-based field with research-based honors or master’s level training. Specialization in applied sports science, training/match load monitoring, and data analytics preferred. Experience in high-performance sporting environments and player tracking technologies is a plus. Open to domestic and international applicants.
Job Description:The successful candidate will conduct research on the physical and physiological demands of emerging racquet sports compared to traditional tennis. Collaborate with a project team including A/Prof Olivier Girard (UWA) and industry professionals A/Prof Machar Reid and Callum Beale (Tennis Australia). This position includes a fully funded PhD scholarship with a living stipend of $35,000 per annum.
