Eligibility/Qualification:
- A PhD in ecology, biodiversity science, conservation biology, macroecology, restoration ecology, invasion ecology, remote-sensing ecology, or a related field, or submission of the PhD thesis before application deadline.
- Demonstrated advanced quantitative ecological abilities.
- Experience and interest in large-herbivore ecology, alien and feral ungulates, and ecological rewilding.

Job Description:
The postdoc will study the ecological impacts of alien and feral ungulates in novel ecosystems, focusing on aspects such as:
- Vegetation structure
- Habitat mosaics
- Woody vegetation dynamics
- Dispersal processes
- Multi-taxon biodiversity
The work includes synthesis and field studies, using various datasets, remote-sensing indicators, and collaboration with international partners. The geographic focus will be determined together with the selected candidate.
