Eligibility/Qualification–

Candidates must fulfill the UGC Regulations 2018 minimum eligibility criteria for the post of Assistant Professor.

Applicants should possess relevant academic qualifications in the concerned discipline, including:

• Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with prescribed minimum marks.
• NET/SLET/SET qualification wherever applicable.
• Ph.D. candidates are eligible as per UGC Regulations.
• Reservation and relaxation in marks are applicable according to Uttar Pradesh Government rules and UGC norms.
• Candidates working in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous institutions must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview.

Job/Position Description- 

Designation: Assistant Professor (Academic Level-10)

Selected candidates will:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Participate in academic, research, and institutional activities.
• Contribute to curriculum development and student mentoring.
• Carry out research and publication activities.
• Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the University.

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of two phases:

Phase-I

• Basic Academic Score & API Score
• Written Test (100 MCQs based on UGC/CSIR-NET syllabus)

Phase-II

• Teaching Skills Assessment
• Computer Proficiency through PowerPoint Presentation
• Personal Interview

Final selection will be based on Phase-II performance, subject to qualifying conditions prescribed by the University.
