Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in molecular/cell biology, biochemistry, biomedicine, or equivalent.
- Biomedical research experience during PhD and/or postdoctoral training.
- Experience in (tumor) immunology.
- Up-to-date animal license certificate.
- Excellent technical skills with a focus on biochemical and cell biology-based techniques.
- Experience with primary human cells/organoids and cancer biology.
- Strong motivation, commitment, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in supervising students.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written communication).
Job Description:
Postdoctoral Position in Pancreatic Cancer Research
The selected candidate will join an interdisciplinary team working on a funded research project focused on deciphering the consequences of the tumor cell of origin in pancreatic cancer. Utilizing novel mouse genetic lines and patient-derived ex vivo models, the project aims to characterize tumor heterogeneity, discover early detection biomarkers, and develop personalized drug treatments.
