Scholarship Description:

Early Stage Researcher/PhD Student Position in Chemistry at Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis – MSC Project CLEAR

As an Early Stage Researcher/PhD student, contribute to the CLEAR project addressing antibiotic resistance in Gram-positive bacterial pathogens. Engage in computer-assisted drug design (CADD) and preliminary synthetic optimization of hits. The training program spans molecular biology, biochemistry, structural biology, screening technologies, and pre-clinical testing.

Eligibility: Master’s degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in life or chemical sciences. Applicants must not hold a PhD, be in the first four years of their research career, and have limited residency in Latvia in the past 3 years.
