Research (PhD and Postdoc) Position: We are offering a doctoral or postdoctoral research position as part of an ongoing project on the exploitation of synthetic biology and phages to control bacterial bioreactor processes. The selected candidate will collaborate with Prof. Kristel Bernaerts at KU Leuven and work on modeling phage-host dynamics in engineered phages under various bioreactor conditions. The position involves building predictive models, conducting bioreactor experiments, and collaborating with other researchers in the project.
