Study Area: Vision research, with a focus on Inherited Retinal Diseases (IRD), incorporating genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, multi-omics, bioinformatics, gene regulation, retinal stem cell models, organoids, aquatic animal disease models, and therapy development.

Scholarship Description: ProgRET aims to train a new generation of vision researchers specializing in autosomal dominant Inherited Retinal Diseases (adIRD). The project addresses key challenges in diagnosing, understanding, and developing therapies for adIRD, utilizing innovative approaches in various research domains.

Eligibility: Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Bioinformatics, or Systems Biology. Trans-national mobility is required, and applicants should be fluent in English (at least B2-level speaking and writing).
