PhD Student Position in RNA Metabolism and Stem Cell Activation

Location: International Institute of Molecular Mechanisms and Machines (IMol) Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or related fields (obtained after 2020).
- Well-structured knowledge in cell biology and biochemistry.
- Hands-on training in molecular biology, cell biology, or biochemistry lab.
- Good command of English.
- Interest in developing own lines of research.
- Previous experience with primary mammalian cell culture, bioinformatics, or flow cytometry analysis is advantageous but not obligatory.
Job Description:
- Plan and perform experiments related to RNA metabolism and stem cell activation.
- Keep a record of experimental details.
- Conduct data analysis, including bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing, results interpretation, and discussion.
- Present results at internal and external meetings/conferences.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in scientific journals.
- Actively participate in the research conducted in the lab.
