Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in molecular biophysics, biochemistry, or a related field (or close to completion).
- Strong background in recombinant DNA and protein production methods.
- Experience in biochemical and/or biophysical approaches to study proteins and their interactions.
- Previous experience in single-molecule biophysics or DNA transactions is advantageous.
Job Description:
- Investigate molecular mechanisms of chromatin replication using single-molecule imaging and biochemical/biophysical methods.
- Responsible for day-to-day project management and planning in consultation with the PI.
- Communicate research at internal and external meetings, contribute to scientific papers, and collaborate on reports.
- Opportunity for teaching, including lecturing, small group teaching, and tutoring of undergraduates and graduate students.
