Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, or organic chemistry by the date of appointment.
- Scientific expertise sufficient to apply for a permanent position at CNRS.
Job Description: The selected candidate will:
- Establish a chemistry lab dedicated to prebiotic chemistry experiments under the supervision of Pr. Grégoire Danger.
- Contribute to a holistic approach understanding environmental conditions driving selectivity in molecular diversity.
- Develop a reductionist approach to investigate reactivity in conditions relevant to the early Earth.
- Integrate into an interdisciplinary project within the ASTRO team, collaborating with experts in the field.
- Supervise a PhD student on the holistic approach and work closely with another PhD student on the reductionist approach.
