Postdoctoral Researcher – Nanochemistry: The Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2) invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Researcher in the Supramolecular Nanochemistry and Materials Group (NANOUP). The researcher will contribute to the development of MOF-based delivery systems, composites, self-assembly materials, and microcapsules in collaboration with private companies.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Education: PhD Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Nanotechnology
- Knowledge: Research experience in composites, metal-organic-frameworks (MOF), and Micro- and nanoencapsulation technologies.
- Professional Experience: Fluent in English, with good communication and writing skills.
- Personal Competences: Intrinsic motivation, strong commitment, responsibility, independence, teamwork skills.
Job Description: The Postdoctoral Researcher will be responsible for:
- Synthesis of MOFs, inorganic nanoparticles, and related composites.
- Adsorption studies of MOF-based composites.
- Delivery studies of MOF-based composites.
- Micro- and nanoencapsulation of functional species.
- Design, synthesis, and characterization of micro & nanocapsules or particles as delivery systems.
- Study the performance of delivery systems for specific applications in collaboration with private companies.
- Participation in writing scientific reports and papers, attending project meetings and conferences, and outreach activities within the project.
- Supervision of PhD students.
