PhD Student in Bioinformatics: Stockholm University’s Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics is seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join the Elofsson group at SciLifeLab. The project, “Deep Learning for protein structure prediction,” focuses on advancing machine learning models to predict protein-protein interactions and apply them to biologically relevant problems.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Completed second-cycle degree or equivalent (240 higher education credits, including 60 credits in the second cycle).
  • Specific entry requirements: 90 credits in Chemistry/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology or Computer Science/Mathematics/Physics, and 60 credits at the second cycle level in Life Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Bioinformatics, including a 30 credit Degree Project (thesis).
