Postdoctoral Position in RNA Biology: Human Technopole is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral candidate to join a collaborative research project between the Soskic and Legnini groups. The successful candidate will conduct research in RNA biology in B cells with a focus on posttranscriptional mechanisms controlling B cell differentiation, immune-activation-induced control of RNA splicing, and stability and degradation of antibody RNAs.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in genomics, immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, or other relevant disciplines (or PhD to be awarded by January 2025)
  • Fluency in English
    Preferential requirements:
  • Experience and interest in B cell biology
  • Broad technical and scientific understanding of genomics and molecular biology
  • Experience and interest in RNA splicing and metabolism
  • Good knowledge of statistics and data analysis approaches for RNA or protein data
  • Knowledge of transcriptomic technologies (bulk and single-cell)
  • Experience with confocal microscopy
  • Independence and flexibility in managing projects and generating new ideas

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, performing, and analyzing genomic experiments (e.g., scRNA-seq, CLIP-seq, FLAM-seq) related to B cell biology and antibody production
  • Developing innovative approaches to investigate gene expression regulation in B cells
  • Generating and recording data, protocols, and/or codes for publication
  • Publishing reproducible research
  • Interacting and supporting other group members
  • Sharing and discussing research results with collaborators
  • Presenting scientific results in international meetings
