Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry, physics
- Strong understanding of biomolecular NMR in solution
- Practical experience with NMR instrumentation
- Interest in combining computational drug design approaches with experimental data
- Experience with docking software, Python/Matlab knowledge
- Protein isotope-labeling experience is a plus
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will:
- Express and purify stable-isotope labeled proteins for NMR structural studies
- Contribute to fragment screening campaigns and hit validation
- Design and execute NMR experiments for structural studies on protein-protein interactions
- Use NMR data for 3-D structure determination and improved prediction
- Collaborate effectively in cross-functional project team settings with biophysicists, structural biologists, chemists, and biologists
- Work with advanced biophysical NMR facilities and equipment
