Eligibility/Qualification:
- For PhD students: Hold or expect to complete soon a Master’s or equivalent degree in physics, mathematics, or related fields.
- For Postdocs: Hold a PhD or equivalent degree in physics, mathematics, or related fields.
- Strong interest and skills in computational molecular physics and statistical mechanics.
- Demonstrated interdisciplinary research aptitude and willingness to collaborate with experimental groups.
Description: This position offers an exciting opportunity to delve into non-equilibrium atomistic simulations of complex biomolecules. Projects may include exploring variational free energy methods, thermodynamics of solvation shells, Markovian thermodynamics, or functional mechanisms of biomolecules like the ribosome, fatty acid synthase, CRISPR/Cas, or intrinsically disordered proteins.
