Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or related disciplines
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Li batteries characterization and/or fabrication
- Minimum 1 year of experience in surface science techniques or synchrotron techniques
- Proficiency in English equivalent to C1 level
Job Description:
- Plan, perform, and analyze experiments related to solid-state Li batteries using PEEM and synchrotron radiation
- Collaborate with European consortium partners to develop project strategies, goals, and experiments
- Engage with other groups at ALBA to find synergies between the ALBA battery program and the OPERA project
- Assist with PEEM and beamline calibration and maintenance as needed to achieve project objectives
