POSTDOC FOR ERC-FUNDED RESEARCH: Charles University, Faculty of Science, Czech Republic, invites applications for a full-time postdoctoral researcher position within the ERC-funded project ‘Ways of Imagining in Children’s Lives with Information Texts’ (WONDRE), led by Dr. Anezka Kuzmicova. The position entails independent analysis of children’s nonfiction texts, collaboration on empirical research, publication of findings, and contribution to the establishment of a new childhood studies environment.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD or equivalent in humanities (e.g., literature), social sciences (e.g., childhood, media studies), or education.
- Experience in systematic text analysis and interdisciplinary work.
- Experience in empirical research, particularly with child participants, is advantageous.
Job Description: The selected candidate will:
- Design and implement independent analyses of children’s nonfiction texts.
- Collaborate on integrating analyses with empirical research and other project activities.
- Produce publications, participate in dissemination activities, and contribute to establishing a new childhood studies environment.
- Optionally teach/supervise students in English or Czech.
