About- The Department of Biochemistry at Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, is inviting applications for a Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) position on a temporary basis, funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) – Extramural Research Project (Discovery Research Division – Small Grant). The project aims to develop new arene ruthenium (II) complexes as potential DDR inhibitor targeting ATM and ATR DNA repair pathways in cervical cancer.

Eligibility/Qualification:

Essential:

First-class postgraduate degree including the integrated PG degree in Life Sciences or related discipline.

Second-class postgraduate degree, including the integrated PG degree with Ph.D. in Life Sciences or related discipline.

Desired:

A candidate with at least one year of research experience and who can handle mammalian cell culture, RT-PCR and western blotting is preferred.

Not exceeding 35 Years of age
