Eligibility/Qualification:

Description: This research project focuses on the synthesis and characterization of unprecedented phosphine-based, anionic supramolecular cages designed to encapsulate cationic gold complexes. The candidate will utilize a rational approach combining modeling and cavity size calculations to design these cages, aiming to modify the reactivity of gold complexes through confinement effects. The project will involve the preparation and characterization of supramolecular cages, dynamic covalent chemistry, and the study of inclusion complexes using advanced analytical techniques.
